Bought this shaver from Amazon less than a year ago for <19 bucks, no special sale! Why should it be so much more expensive now?
This shaver works pretty well, shaves reasonably close and is a very functional design. When closed, it protects the shaving head very well, but the head is somewhat delicate and care must be used when cleaning not to damage it or to dislodge the foil from the frame. I use it primarily while camping, for this it is excellent.

This is one great little shaver. I was dubious because a previous Braun battery shaver I owned was terrible, but not so with the P-70! It is almost as good as my much more expensive Panasonic rechargeable in use at home. If you need a battery powered shaver look no further, this one is the buy of the year (maybe the decade).
