This is a sponge with a stick attached. There is nothing wrong with that, I got it for my mom. But until she told me, I thought maybe it was something more sophisticated than that! If you are at all handy, this is something you could easily make yourself -- but it's a good price, and washable, and go for it.

I love this lotion applicator! It works great and it's easy to keep clean. Lotion does not build up on it. The handle is very comfortable to hold.

I have limited mobility and reaching abilities and have found this to be a valuable aid to combat dry skin, especially on my lower legs and feet. I wish it was angled a little less as it would fit the contours of my ankles slightly better but still works better than anything else I've ever tried

Bought this because I got a tattoo on my back and it was hard to reach it with my hands to put lotion on it, so I got this to apply lotion so it will heal effectively, and so far so good, Awesome!

If you have a hard time putting lotion on your back and don't have someone else to help you do it, this product is a WONDERFUL helper!! Just put a little on the pad and rub into your back. I have used this for many years and it really helps me get to that spot in the middle of my back that I can't reach with my own hands.
